When Dr. Wagner was 26 years old, he joined the Navy hoping to find some direction for a career. While stationed in San
Diego on the U.S.S. Ranger (CV61), he hurt his back and found a chiropractor to possibly help him. This chiropractor was
different. He talked about philosophy of life and health and explained why chiropractors do what they do. Dr. Wagner
found he was interested in chiropractic and made the decision to attend Life College in Marietta, GA. He and his wife
Angela, along with Heidi the wonder dog packed the van and moved from sunny Southern California to Georgia.
In the second quarter of his chiropractic education, Dr. Wagner was introduced to the Grostic Upper Cervical procedure.
“This made total sense. If your head is on straight, everything else follows. We don’t chase symptoms and try to figure out
which bones to move, we just make sure the top two bones are aligned and Innate can do the rest”.
Dr. Wagner began to study outside of classes in technique clubs and Orthospinology seminars to learn more about this
amazing procedure. As he learned more, he realized that there would always be more to learn about this incredible area of
the spine. He was elected as President of the Student Society of Orthospinlogy and was also accepted as a research
assistant in the John D. Grostic Research Center of Life University.
Upon graduation, Dr. Wagner volunteered to work in the Humber Clinic in Smyrna, GA, to further increase his knowledge
and skill in the Upper Cervical Correction. After a year of training, he and Angela returned to Silverdale, WA, to open his
Upper Cervical office where he is still practicing today.
“I witnessed miracles while working with AIDS patients and autistic children. This cemented my confidence in Upper
Cervical Care. I knew this was what I was meant to do. My mission is to help as many families as divinely possible and
to change the world one spine at a time.”
Dr. Michael Wagner is located in Old Town Silverdale, 3501 Lowell Street, Suite 202 and can be reached at 360-692-3800.
